Going into 2015, there were some concerns that Stanton would not be able to return to his former dominance, yet his performance on Tuesday night solidified that as hogwash.
In the top of the first inning, Stanton blasted a mammoth home run — his eighth of the year — clear out of Dodger Stadium, and I’m pretty sure it’s still in the air this morning.
THAT, boys and girls, is what we in the business call a “no-doubter.”
The Marlins eventually lost to the Dodgers, 5-3.
