Nicki Minaj took to Twitter Tuesday to complain about the lack of a VMA nomination for her two videos “Feeling Myself” and “Anaconda.”
Taylor Swift believes Minaj’s complaints were attacking her, which has led to bad blood between the two artists.
Minaj started it all tweeting out:
Hey guys @MTV thank you for my nominations. 😘😘😘 Did Feeling Myself miss the deadline or…?

She followed that up with this tweet insinuating it had something to do with who she was as an artist.
If I was a different “kind” of artist, Anaconda would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well. 😊😊😊 — NICKI MINAJ (@NICKIMINAJ) July 21, 2015
Her rant continues.
When the “other” girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 — NICKI MINAJ (@NICKIMINAJ) July 21, 2015
Swift believed the tweets were directed towards her and responded, though has subsequently deleted the tweet.
Minaj thinks Swift was vain for thinking the tweets were about her, though she believes Swift should speak up on this “unjustice.”
Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn’t say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this. @taylorswift13

Of course Minaj blames “White Media.”
Nothing I said had to do with Taylor. So what jabs? White media and their tactics. So sad. That’s what they want. https://t.co/AfcwoyDvpg

Subsequently Swift unfollowed Minaj on Twitter.
