Have you always dreamed of meeting the eldest Emanuel brother?

If so, you’re in luck.

Healthcare pundit Ezekiel Emanuel, the eldest Emanuel brother who sometimes turns up on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” will run a weekend breakfast series at the Washington eatery Masseria for the next few weekends.

For the series, according to his publicity team, Emanuel will make his debut as a “star chef.” The purpose of his appearance is to share his “core beliefs” on “wholesome living” for nutrition and political junkies.

Zeke, who they call a “political scholar” and “salubrity sage,” apparently believes that “living well is as much a personal issue as it is political: a clean (and affordable) bill of health starts at the breakfast table.”

There is no actual evidence that he knows how to cook. But he does have fancy degrees — a master’s in biochemistry from Oxford and a Phd. in political philosophy from Harvard. It’s possible the food may come out OK.

Part of the proceeds will go to Martha’s Table, DC Central Kitchen and Good Food Awards.
