The right-handed flamethrower is part of one of the best young rotations in all of baseball, and his legend grew even larger when he blew a fastball — possibly a sinker, but at 96 mph? that’s just not fair — past Washington Nationals third baseman Yunel Escobar on Wednesday, apparently killing him in the process.
