Lindsey Graham said when asked if he would support sending more American troops to Iraq, that “we need more American ground forces in Iraq” and that if you don’t understand that, “you are not fit to be Commander-in-Chief.”
“If we don’t stop them over there, they will come over here as sure as I stand here in front of you,” the Senator from South Carolina stated. “America has to be part of a regional ground force that will go into Syria and destroy ISIL, in Syria,” and Graham claimed that any presidential candidate that isn’t prepared to support such a coalition is, “not serious about destroying ISIL.”
