Former Vermont governor — and 2004 presidential candidate — Howard Dean said that if Vice President Joe Biden decides to enter the 2016 presidential race, it “will be throwing rocks from the bottom of the well for a long time” while being interviewed on MSNBC Monday.
DEAN: I don’t know what’s motivating Joe. He’s a racehorse, as many of us are, but it’s really tough. He’s going to get into this campaign very, very late. Polls show that Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are more popular than a guy who’s got 100-percent name recognition at this point, so this will be throwing rocks from the bottom of the well for a long time, but I have no idea what he’s going to do.
