Donald Trump says that he watched Tuesday’s episode of Fox News Channel’s “The Kelly File” and said host Megyn Kelly was “very nice and I appreciated it.” He also revealed that he spoke with Fox News’ Roger Ailes Wednesday morning.
Trump appeared on the “Laura Ingraham Show” Wednesday and said there is no “death struggle” between himself and Megyn Kelly.
Later in the interview, Ingraham asked Trump if he was “going to keep retweeting these ‘bimbo back in town’ kind of comments?”
Trump replied, “No, I have much bigger things to think about, honestly. I mean, they made a big deal out of that and I just don’t see, that was a retweet.”
Trump also said Fox News chief “Roger Ailes is great. He’s a special guy and a good friend of mine. We just spoke two minutes ago. I mean, Roger Ailes is a great guy and no, I have no problem.”
