Alice Sabatini was crowned “Miss Italy” over the weekend but not before dropping a major head-scratcher answer during the pageants question section.
When judges asked Sabatini which historical period she would like to live in, she responded, “1942,” which just some happens to be “one of the bloodiest and darkest years in Italian history under the Mussolini dictatorship.”
Sabatini’s response prompted Italian TV show “Striscia la Notizia” who her favorite “Italian historical figure” is.
Her response? “Michael Jordan, the greatest player in basketball history.”
