The women of Alpha Chi Omega at Arizona State University became famous after TV announcers noticed they were in the stands taking selfies instead of focusing on the Diamondbacks game, but now they’re getting attention for a whole different reason.

The Arizona Diamondbacks offered them free tickets to another game, but the ladies politely declined the offer and instead asked that the Diamondbacks and TV network donate some money to victims of domestic abuse, according to Yahoo Sports.

The sorority released the following statement on their Facebook account.

The ladies were taking in a Wednesday night game against the Colorado Rockies when the announcers noticed that every single one of them were focused on their phones, and nobody cared about the game. The announcers had some fun berating them and laughing at the fact nobody had any idea what was going on. (RELATED: MLB Announcers Are Mystified By Sorority Girls’ Fire-Flame Selfie Game [VIDEO])

Props to them for turning their newfound fame into a good cause. Well done ladies, well done.
