Jeb Bush answered a strange media question about “Baby Hitler” saying he would absolutely go back in time to kill Hitler as a child and thus hopefully prevent the Holocaust and World War II.
“Hell yeah, I would!” Bush told Huffington Post. “You gotta step up, man.”
Huffington Post said they asked the question because The New York Times Magazine polled its readers in October and found that the majority agree, killing baby Hitler is a good idea.
The interview took place on Bush’s campaign bus while in New Hampshire.
“It could have a dangerous effect on everything else, but I’d do it — I mean, Hitler,” Bush said.
Bush tweeted about the question, apparently proud of his response.
