Hillary Clinton’s flack David Brock said on Tuesday that “cementing this president’s legacy is a very important part” of Clinton’s candidacy.

Appearing on CNN’s “The Lead,” Brock explained that “overall” President Obama is a “net plus, absolutely.”

Guest host John Berman asked the Clinton apologist and founder of the left-wing organization Media Matters, “I want to know what is really going on behind the closed doors at Clintonworld. Do you think the president is a net plus or a net minus for Hillary Clinton right now?”

Brock responded, “I think he is overall a net plus, absolutely.”

When Berman pressed Brock to see if “Clinton/Obama 2016” was something they wanted to run on, Brock insisted, “Sure, absolutely. Cementing this president’s legacy is a very important part of Hillary Clinton’s candidacy.” (RELATED: FLASHBACK: Obama Said ‘ISIS Is Contained’ Friday Morning)
