Barbara Walters named Caitlyn Jenner the “Most Fascinating Person of the Year” during her yearly ABC News special.

Following in the footsteps of Princess Diana and Hillary Clinton, the 66-year-old former Olympian was featured during Walters’s yearly special Thursday night.

Walters said she chose Jenner because he created a “seismic shift in the gender universe.”
