The [crscore]Bernie Sanders[/crscore] campaign is looking into calling for a recount after the Associated Press called the Iowa Democratic Caucus for Hillary Clinton.

Earlier Monday while the race was still not called it was reported by the AP that they were “still assessing” whether they’d ask for a recount. Sen. Sanders’s communications director, Michael Briggs, confirmed to The Daily Caller this is still the case saying, “we’re still taking a look at it.”

The Iowa Democratic Party said Tuesday that they would not be conducted a recount of the results. Clinton won by a slim margin 49.9 percent to 49.6 percent.

UPDATE: Bernie Sanders told reporters Monday afternoon that he is not conceding in Iowa and his staff are still looking at a recount.
