San Antonio Spurs veteran Manu Ginobili underwent emergency surgery Thursday after being kneed in the groin by the New Orleans Pelicans’ Ryan Anderson Wednesday, the San Antonio News-Express reports.

After being helped up by trainers, Ginobili collapsed while exiting the court, the News-Express reports.
Ginoboli is expected to miss a month but told La Nacion, “[he] can still contribute” to the Spurs eventual playoff run.
