With a second Super Bowl ring on his finger and a potential retirement looming, Peyton Manning has not lost his sense of humor.

The Sheriff opened a speaking engagement Wednesday night with a joke that might garner another kiss from Papa John.

Manning is no stranger to drawing laughter from his audiences. According to NFL Network’s Jeff Darlington, Manning’s jokes at the Florida Forum Speakers Series continued.

A shrewd businessman, Manning bought 21 Papa Johns locations in the Denver area after he joined the Broncos, and his close friendship with Papa John Schnatter has grown. “Pizza business is pretty good out here believe it or not due to some recent law changes,” Manning told Peter King in 2014, three-quarters of the way through Colorado’s first year of legal recreational marijuana sale and use.
