Former presidential candidate Carly Fiorina told Fox News’ Bill Hemmer Thursday morning that the media has already decided that Donald Trump will win the nomination, even though [crscore]Ted Cruz[/crscore] keeps “inching closer and closer” to closing Trump’s national delegate lead.

“We have a little over 40 percent of the delegates left to be awarded,” the former Hewlett-Packard CEO explained. “Ted Cruz is going to pick up delegates on Tuesday. He’s going to pick up delegates, and he’s going to keep inching closer and closer to Donald Trump.”

“But the only way to beat Donald Trump is to give someone — and I believe that someone is Ted Cruz — the opportunity to go head-to-head with Donald Trump.”

“Donald Trump has got to be beaten fair and square,” she continued. “Let’s be honest. The narrative coming out of the media is part of the problem.”

“I guess the media has decided who the nominee is.”
