Former Denver Broncos backup quarterback Brock Osweiler has signed with the Houston Texans for a cool $72 million.

Osweiler’s massive deal was first reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN, and is worth a guarantee $37 million in the first two years.

The former Arizona State star played in relief of Peyton Manning for part of the last season but his massive contract is raising some eyebrows because he’s highly unproven haven only tossed 11 touchdown passes in his entire career. That breaks his new contract down to more than $6.5 million per touchdown he’s ever thrown. (RELATED: Detroit Lions Star Calvin Johnson Is Retiring)

According to ESPN, this contract will make Osweiler a top 10 paid quarterback in the NFL for the 2016 season. He also told the media coming to the Texans was “an opportunity that I couldn’t pass up.” (RELATED: Beast Mode Hangs Up Cleats After Great NFL Career)

For the absolutely insane amount of money he’s going to be making, it’s hard to disagree with him.
