Hillary Clinton won the North Carolina Democratic primary by a landslide Tuesday night.
The Tar Heel state holds a semi-closed primary — in which unregistered voters are free to vote in either party’s nominating process but registered voters can only vote on their party’s ballot — and her 21 point victory over Sen. Bernie Sanders will award her a major portion of the state’s 107 delegates.
Prior to Tuesday, Clinton needed 1,148 delegates to win the Democratic nomination.
