The Michigan State Spartans have been upset by the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders in the first round of March Madness by a score of 90-81.
The Spartans, the two seed, had no answer for the hot shooting of the Blue Raiders led by Darnell Harris, Reggie Upshaw and Giddy Potts who combined for 55 of the Blue Raiders 90 points.
Michigan State star Denzel Valentine was held to an uninspiring 13 points and five rebounds in the final game of college career.
The Blue Raiders will face off against Syracuse on Sunday.
