Legendary Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski is denying that he chewed out an Oregon player in the handshake line following a loss in the Sweet 16.
With the final seconds ticking off the clock, Oregon star Dillon Brooks drilled a super deep three. (SLIDESHOW: Prepare For The NCAA Tournament With The Women Of March Madness)
Coach K apparently was not pleased with Brooks actions and exchanged words with him in the handshake line.
“He just told me that I’m too good of a player to be showing out at the end. And he’s right. I’ve got to respect Duke,” Brooks told the media.
Coach K, however, is denying that he criticized Brooks or said any of the comments the Oregon star claims he did. “I just congratulated him,” Krzyzewski said.
Luckily there is video of the exchange.

It’s hard to tell what was said, but there’s absolutely no doubt that Coach K clearly said something and didn’t look happy.
