Nice try, teabaggers, but we’re talking about two totally different situations here. Back then, the President of the United States was a Republican. (Gross.) Now POTUS is a Democrat — and Joe’s boss! So you can hardly expect anybody to adhere to one set of rules and expectations for both circumstances. It’s right there in the Constitution. Just ask Joe.
