Donald Trump defeated Sen. [crscore]Ted Cruz[/crscore] and Ohio Gov. John Kasich in the Connecticut primary.

With 99 percent of precincts  reporting, Trump received 57.5 percent, Kasich received 28.5 percent and Cruz received 11.7 percent of the vote.

Heading into Tuesday’s primary, Trump led Cruz by an average of 27 points, according to the Real Clear Politics average.

At stake are 28 total delegates. Fifteen of the delegates are winner-take-all by congressional district. Thirteen additional delegates are awarded proportionally statewide. However, if Trump gets over 50 percent of the vote, it becomes winner-take-all.

Due to his margin of victory, Trump received all 28 delegates.

While Trump’s victory in Connecticut was expected, his major test will be next Tuesday in Indiana.
