Florida announced on Tuesday that it wants to replace the 100-year-old statue of Confederate General Edmund Kirby Smith that currently sits in the United States Capitol.
The state has encouraged residents to submit the names of famous Floridians who can take Smith’s place, yet one suggestion clearly stands out from the crowd.
