Donald Trump poked good-natured fun at Gov. Chris Christie, telling him to stop eating Oreos.
During a campaign fundraiser for the New Jersey governor on Thursday, Trump said, “You can call it free trade, you can call it fair trade… you can do whatever you want to call it, we’re going to make great deals for our country, it might be free, it might not be free.”
“I can tell you this, when Carrier and Ford and Nabisco [they’re] leaving Chicago with their big plant, they’re moving to Mexico, I’m not eating Oreos anymore, you know that.”
Then, pointing towards Christie, Trump said, “And neither is Chris” as the crowd groaned in laughter.
“You’re not eating Oreos anymore, no more Oreos for either of us. Chris, don’t feel bad, for either of us.”
