Democrat presidential candidate Bernie Sanders took in game seven of the Western Conference finals and thinks the Warriors win is a positive sign for his future.
The Warriors came back from a 3-1 deficit against the Oklahoma City Thunder to win three straight game to head to the NBA Finals, and Sanders couldn’t be happier. (SLIDESHOW: Baller Babes: These Gorgeous Women Love Basketball)

Last week, Golden State was down three games to one. Tonight, they finished off a great comeback in California. I like comebacks.

The main problem with Sanders’ logic is that it makes absolutely no sense. The Warriors have been heavy favorites to win the NBA championship since the playoffs started were favored to easily win the Western Conference. They’re hardly the David vs. Goliath underdogs Sanders is attempting to draw parallel with.
Only time will tell if the Warriors “unlikely” storyline is similar to the Democratic primary results in California between Sanders and front-runner Hillary Clinton.
