Florsheim is one of the finest shoe companies there is, so it goes without saying that we at the Daily Dealer get excited when their footwear goes on sale.

In fact, we wanted to alert readers to the happy news that a whole bunch of shoes are 40 percent off. That was very exciting! But then we found out about Florsheim’s secret deal.

On Florsheim’s website, they have a section called “Super Deals.” In that section, there are three shoes: a black Washington, a cognac (that is, brown) Washington and a Welles. These are all very nice shoes.

All three shoes are listed at $125, which is definitely a good price for Florsheim footwear. But I wouldn’t exactly call that a “Super Deal.”

This is where the super secret code comes into play. If you use the code “DAD16” at checkout, these shoes become over half off. Instead of paying $125, those five simple alphanumeric will save you $65. You can get each of these three Florsheim shoes for a mere $59.10.

Can you believe these shoes are under $60?
