Single Donald Trump supporters who have not had luck finding someone now have a website to help them.
The founder of “Trump Singles” website, David Goss, said he is excited to offer Trump supporters a place to find love, and said it can be difficult on other sites as there can be a “stigma” attached to supporters, according to the New York Post.
Goss said he got the idea after a friend of his, who reportedly is a “die-hard Trump supporter,” had a dinner date leave her at the table with the check after finding out who she was backing.
“There’s a special stigma when people say they’re supporting Trump, because of some of the brash things that he’s said,” he said. “That immediately gets [projected] on his supporters, and it makes it hard for them when trying to date.”
“At first I was concerned that people would think this was a parody site,” he added. “But people have told me that they’re so happy they can finally go on dates without worrying about political differences.”
Goss says since the site launched last month, they have up to 500 members and believe they will continue to grow.
The app is expected to launch next week.
