Norman Lear said that Donald Trump is the “middle finger of the American right hand.”
During a television festival in Texas Friday, the legendary television producer — who produced “All in the Family” — dissed the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Variety reported.
“I view Donald Trump as the middle finger of the American right hand,” Lear said.
During an interview last year, Lear identified himself as a “bleeding-heart conservative.”
“I think of myself as a bleeding-heart conservative,” Lear said. “You will not fuck with my Bill of Rights, my Constitution, my guarantees of political justice for all.”

“We’re making all 13 [episodes] before the first one airs,” he said. “That’s a brand new experience. We won’t learn whatever it is that we learned from a live, national audience.”
