50 Cent was arrested for cursing during a performance in St. Kitts in the Caribbean over the weekend.
The rapper — whose real name is Curtis Jackson — was reportedly cited for saying “motherfucker” in front of 40,000 people during his show.
He was met by police after his performance and taken into custody, where he posted bail at $5,000 EC (around $1,800 U.S. dollars). Jackson appeared in court on Sunday and paid back his fine before traveling back to the United States, according to TMZ.
“They didn’t have the clean version to his tracks, so there were profanities used during his performance,” Jackson’s rep said in a statement. “The show was a great success and he will make sure for future trips to St. Kitts that he leaves the ‘motherfuckers’ in the United States.”
