In an interview last Sunday, Sen. Marco Rubio predicted that a terrorist attack would occur in Turkey “over the next few weeks” and on Tuesday, his warning came true.
Rubio told CBS “Face The Nation” host John Dickerson in an interview flagged by RedState, “One of our NATO allies right now that faces the greatest threat of ISIS is Turkey. I would not be surprised over the next few weeks to see major ISIS operations within Turkey, itself.”

A couple of days later, 41 people were killed and approximately 230 were injured in a terrorist attack at Istanbul’s Ataturk airport.
While it is not yet known if ISIS was behind the attack, Rubio’s warning was never the less accurate.
