CNN anchor John Berman used the opportunity of Bernie Sanders endorsing Hillary Clinton on Monday to make an awkward sex joke.
At the start of “At This Hour,” Berman said, “Bernie Sanders is expected to formally endorse Hillary Clinton. The big question, can he convince his legion of supporters who ‘feel the bern’ to feel someone else? And can you say that in mixed company?”
Laughing, co-host Kate Bolduan replied, “No, you cannot, but you just did.”
