Presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton announced Monday she has a key campaign position open for her “longtime friend” Debbie Wasserman Schultz following her resignation as Democratic National Committee chairwoman Sunday afternoon.

Clinton announced she opened a position as an “honorary chair” of her 50 state program to elect Democrats in Senate and House races across the country. Clinton also added she looks forward to assisting the outgoing DNC chairwoman in her re-election bid to represent Florida’s 23rd district.

Wasserman Schultz faces an incredibly low 19 percent approval rating in her home state of Florida, despite winning the past two elections by huge margins.

She announced her resignation Sunday after thousands of emails released Friday revealed Democratic leadership colluded favor the Clinton campaign. Senator Bernie Sanders called for Wasserman Schultz’s resignation early Sunday.

“The party leadership must also always remain impartial in the presidential nominating process, something which did not occur in the 2016 race,” Sanders said in his statement to reporters.

“What’s disturbing to us is that experts are telling us that Russian state actors broke into the DNC, stole these emails and other experts are now saying that Russians are releasing these emails for the purpose of helping Donald Trump,” Clinton spokesperson Robby Mook said on “State Of The Union.”

DNC chief financial officer Brad Marshall had to apologize for one of his emails that speculated on how to attack Sanders’s Jewish heritage. “I think I read he is an atheist. This could make several points difference with my peeps. My Southern Baptist peeps would draw a big difference between a Jew and an atheist.”

Wasserman Schultz attempted to address a crowd of Florida delegates Monday morning, but was drowned out by irate Sanders supporters carrying signs that read “Thanks for the help Debbie!” and simply, “emails.”
