Jennifer Aniston got visibly emotional during a live question-and-answer session with fans.

Speaking from the Giffoni Film Festival in Italy over the weekend, the 47-year-old actress responded to a variety of questions from fans, but the one that brought her to tears was when a teen fan asked if she ever woke up in the morning and didn’t really know who she was. “Yes,” Aniston said. “That moment has happened to me, like I can’t even, there’s not enough fingers and toes in this entire room to count how many times that has happened.”

“I mean, my gosh, we’re all human beings at the end of the day, whether we’re a waitress or we’re a baker or a student or whatever we are, at the end of the day you kind of hit walls and think you can’t go any farther and think this is too much, my heart can’t take it or the pain is too great,” she added. “Am I good enough? Can I, will I survive?”

“You just have to sort of somehow miraculously overcome,” she continued. “And also know that your actors, your idols, your icons, whatever you call them, have all had that experience or that moment in their lives many, many times. There’s nothing that separates us from you because we all started at the same place.”

“We all came out of nowhere,” she said. “We were all born innocent little empty vessels so don’t punish yourself if you feel that. Go talk to people, seek help and just find someone to inspire you.”
