Caitlyn Jenner is suing the paparazzi for allegedly causing a fatal car wreck by stalking him.

In court documents obtained by People magazine, the 66-year-old reality television star refers to the paparazzi photographers as “the Stalker Defendants” and said they were “harassing” him all day and up through the moment when the car accident occurred in February of 2015. (RELATED: Caitlyn Jenner: ‘I’m Here To Help The Republican Party’)

Jenner accuses photographers of following him too closely, tailgating his car and driving in what was described as a “reckless manner,” in hopes of getting pictures of him. (RELATED: Caitlyn Jenner To Go Completely Nude For SI Cover Shot)

“As a direct consequence and result of this stalking, harassing and distracting conduct, [Jenner] was visually distracted, and the negligence and reckless conduct of the Stalker Defendants did contribute to the cause of an accident where seconds and split seconds mattered,” the document read.

Jenner is asking that the paparazzi photographers  also be held responsible for any liability of the fatal crash and also wants to hold them financially responsible for any of the legal proceedings and damages that were caused by the accident.

In February of 2015 Jenner was driving his car down the Pacific Coast Highway in southern California when he hit Kim Howe’s Lexus.
