Men Chanting ‘Black Lives Matter’ Attack Group Of Whites, Police Say

Men allegedly chanting “Black lives matter” have been accused of assaulting a group of white men early Sunday morning in Akron, Ohio.

According to the police report, the group attacked seven white men around 12:30 a.m, reports KFVS 12. The group chanting “Black lives matter” consisted of five black men and two white men.

Police said that the white men were walking when the group came up to them, yelling “Black lives matter.” According to the police, the group used bottles to attack them and then punched and kicked them.

One victim lost consciousness after being kicked in the head repeatedly; the victims said that the group stole some of their possessions and then ran away.

Akron police and University of Akron police were able to locate the alleged attackers and arrest them.

All seven of the attacking group were charged with rioting; two were charged with felonious assault, four were charged with assault, two were charged with robbery and two were charged with receiving stolen property.
