Former New York Giants star Lawrence Taylor was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after hitting a motor home and then sideswiping a police car, local Florida NBC affiliate WPTV 5 reported late Friday night.

Taylor, a Hall of Fame linebacker, was driving a Bentley in Palm Beach County when he switched lanes and ran into both vehicles. Police performed roadside sobriety tests, which he did “poorly” on, according to the arrest report.

Taylor’s blood alcohol content was .084 five hours after the accident took place, signaling a much higher content when it happened. The legal limit in Florida is .08.

Before being taken to jail, Taylor was taken to Wellington Regional Medical Center because he told officers he was going to throw up, according to CNN. After being taken to Palm Beach County Jail, officers asked the former linebacker how much he had to drink, to which he replied “apparently too much,” WPTV reports.

Unfortunately for the former NY Giants star, he has a rap sheet that continues to grow. In 2011, he plead guilty to sexual misconduct with an underage girl. In 2009, he was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident. In both 1998 and 1996, he was arrested for trying to buy crack from undercover officers. Also in 1998, he was arrested for not paying child support.
