Cher went on a rambling, garbled and at times nonsensical rant on Twitter defending Hillary Clinton after she nearly collapsed at a memorial service on Sept. 11.

On Sunday, the 70-year-old singer and actress tweeted that the Democratic presidential nominee was “presidential” and “tough” for working while sick amid questions about whether Clinton is strong enough to handle the most stressful job in the land. (RELATED: Cher Posts Bizarre Photo And Rant About Trump’s Alleged Ties To Putin)

“I refuse to believe [Trump] will be the end of our country.”

“Had pneumonia &know it’s fkg rough,” she added. “Hillary’s tough as a marine. I was so afraid I gave her cough.”

“I love & respect her,” she continued. “She’s strong enough 4me.”

In a now-deleted tweet, the singer also called Clinton “presidential.”
