NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel personally donated money to a Texas A&M student fighting cancer.

The former Cleveland Browns quarterback posted a message on his Instagram account in support of freshman Shelby Smith, who is battling olfactory neuroblastoma.

“Aggies never fight alone. Cant imagine going through something like this, let alone finding out on such a special day and big time in your life. I wish you all the best and you will be in my prayers continuously. Link for the GoFundMe in my Bio #gigemforever,” the Heisman winning Aggie posted. (RELATED: Meet The Playboy Model Johnny Manziel Is Vacationing With In Mexico [PHOTOS])

Manziel donated $1,000 of his own money to Smith’s GoFundMe page, and her total amount raised has exploded to almost $75,000 since Manziel shared her story.

Turns out all of Johnny Football’s critics might finally have to admit the young quarterback isn’t all trouble.
