Police have identified a suspect in the ambush-style attack on two Pennsylvania officers early Thursday morning.

Authorities say both officers were taken to a hospital where one has already died, reports ABC News.

Officer Scott Leslie Bashioum died at a local hospital, while the second officer remains in good condition after undergoing surgery, sources reported.

Police named Michael Cwiklinski as the suspect.

The two officers responded to a call about domestic abuse around 3:14 a.m. in a town outside Pittsburgh. When they arrived to the scene, Cwiklinski “ambushed” them the second they walked to the front of the house.

The house already had an active protection from abuse order, according to authorities. Police confirmed that Cwiklinski died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Dalia Sabae, who was reportedly six months pregnant, was found dead in the house as well.

Police sources maintain that Cwiklinski shot Sabae, and then shot himself.

Some residents in the neighborhood have been told to vacate their homes and others were ordered to remain inside. Officials announced that schools would not open until two hours after their usual start time.
