Russian media is in an uproar after vandals turned a Soviet star into the character Patrick from Spongebob. The picture went viral on Russia’s version of Facebook, VK, in recent days.

The incident reportedly occurred Oct. 25, and will cost the Russian government approximately $1500 to restore. Administrators reportedly told Russian media the vandalism was a “childish prank for mockery.”

The incident is the second time the star has been vandalized. Russian authorities had to use a crane in October 2015 to remove a Jolly Rancher left hanging from the top of the tower. The vandals were reportedly captured by authorities, and will be forced to pay the restoration costs.
