NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel beat his dad’s prediction that he’d be dead by 24.

The electric dual-threat quarterback’s father Paul famously said, “I truly believe if they can’t get him help, he won’t live to see his 24th birthday,” but Manziel turned 24 on Tuesday. (SLIDESHOW: This Supermodel Might Be The Sexiest NFL Girlfriend)

The former Cleveland Browns quarterback clearly didn’t forget about his dad’s comments that he’d be dead by now because he posted a photo of himself with his dad shortly after turning 24. (SLIDESHOW: 13 Times Lindsey Vonn Proved She’s One Of The Hottest Women Alive)

Manziel reportedly spent $35,000 during his party bender in Miami, according to Page Six. Johnny Football is clearly back in in prime form and that’s great entertainment for America.
