Chrissy Teigen says Donald Trump is “dying without the approval” of her and other celebrities.

The model and wife of R&B singer John Legend fired off a pair of tweets Thursday mocking the president-elect’s inauguration lineup, and refuted a claim made by Trump that many A-list stars are hoping to attend his Jan. 20 swearing in ceremony.

Trump, responding to reports that his inauguration team is struggling to book high-profile talent for the special day, wrote on Twitter Thursday: “The so-called ‘A’ list celebrities are all wanting tixs to the inauguration, but look what they did for Hillary, NOTHING. I want the PEOPLE!”

Teigen, who joined her husband in opposing Trump throughout the campaign, responded by writing that celebrities “are people.”

“Hi – we are people. You are our president too. I don’t want you to be, but u are,” she wrote. “Also we ALL know you are dying without the approval, dear.” The former “Sports Illustrated” cover girl then mocked those scheduled to perform for Trump in Washington next month.

“But have fun with DJ Buttcrack spinning the hot shit and Lil Banana dropping bars at your inauguration,” she wrote.

While Garth Brooks, Elton John, Celine Dion, and others have reportedly turned down offers to perform at the ceremony, Trump’s team has booked the services of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, the Radio City Rockettes, and acclaimed child singer Jackie Evancho.
