WASHINGTON — Priorities at the White House changed in an instant the moment President Donald Trump took the oath of office Friday as the LGBT policy agenda of the previous Obama administration can no longer be found at the WhiteHouse.gov website.
In the past, if a user typed whitehouse.gov/lgbt into a browser window, a page would appear showing the Obama administration’s policies and results in relation to their LGBT agenda.
However, just moments after Trump became president, the browser window that appeared after typing the same url is now a “transitionsplash” page. (RELATED: Trump Terminates Obama’s Global Warming Website Seconds After Taking Office)
The new web page asks users to “sign up for updates from President Donald J. Trump.” The page is devoid of content when it comes to LGBT issues.
Even the U.S. Department of Labor’s website lost itss report on “advancing LGBT rights in the workplace,” as well as as several blog posts on the issue.
