I don’t really have an answer to the question I raise in this article’s headline. Is it too early to buy a grill? It might be. Although the 50 degree weather and lack of snow make it feel as though we are amidst the transition to spring, the fact remains that we are still very much in winter. Punxsutawney Phil has yet to even take a peek at his shadow.

And yet, it does seem like a good time to buy a grill. A co-worker of mine suggested the other day that “it’s almost boat season.” Spring Training is exactly two weeks away. My mom’s already asking me if I’m coming home for Easter. In other words, spring feels tangibly close. Oh, and also this grill is $80 off right now. Maybe it is a good time to buy a grill.

Look, I totally understand if you don’t want to buy a grill right now. Yes, I know it’s January. But if the weather is going to be this warm for the next couple months, why not take advantage? The Super Bowl is this upcoming Sunday, and it would be mighty nice to grill out. Plus, if you buy a grill now, you won’t have to buy one come May. Think about it.
