In all my time researching online deals, I can’t remember ever seeing a product with as much praise as this knife. It has a 4.9-star rating, which means that 95 percent of the nearly 100 customers who’ve bought it think it is completely perfect. And the reviews are simply glowing. No one has anything bad to say about it. And the reviews were written before anyone could take into account the fact it would ever be available for 55 percent off.

KUTT Chef Knife for Kitchen and Odor Remover, 8-inch Stainless Steel Professional Chef’s Knife on sale for $39.97

A reviewer named Henry writes that it is “A must have knife for both pros and newbies,” going on to rave:

This is the knife to have, very well balanced in weight and quite sharp. The knife lives up to expectations, giving me smooth, solid cuts and just a pleasure to use. One thing, i really like is the odor stone, a small but super clever add on. Now i can finally focus on my cooking and know that in less than a minute the stone will remove all the smells from my hands, genius! . Highly recommended the KUTT knife, best investment in my kitchen thus far!
Gabor Furesz notes that it is a great knife for the price. Considering he wrote this when it cost $90, imagine how incredible a value it is for under $40:

This is an excellent chef knife. I have two other similar 8″ chef knives, both were in a similar price range ($75-$100) and over the past few days i found myself using the Kutt the most. First i though the handle of this knife os too plane, featurless, and so it will not provide a good grip – but i was wrong. Actually, it might be one of the advantages that makes it more comfortable. I have relatively large hand and some more pronounced grip features just do not fit me well. Another thing to note is the balance. This knife is just right, feels natural in the hand, does not tip forward, and does not require any effort on the wrist. Packaging was very well executed, elegant, and quality is superb for the price.

And there are scores of other reviews just like those ones. One calls it “the perfect knife.” That sure seems to be the consensus. What do you do when “the perfect knife” is on sale for under $40? I’ll let you decide.
