An unknown person has registered a web address called “WhyTrumpIsGreat.com,” but the site is not a page with subjective reasons on why President Donald Trump is good for the country.
Site users are instead greeted with the message: “He’s fucking not. Get your head out of your ass.”
The message is posted on a plain white background with absolutely nothing else, signaling there is no other point for the site besides duping Trump supporters and potentially making opponents of the president laugh. (RELATED: Peter Thiel Picked The Most Trolltastic Costume To Gloat Over Gawker)
While Trump is on the receiving end of the imprecise criticism, he did something similar to one of his former fellow Republican presidential opponents.
Trump took a jab at former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush late last year by making the domain name “JebBush.com” redirect to “DonaldJTrump.com.” Users were greeted with a picture of Trump holding up a peace sign and his campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again.”
Bush could have purchased the domain name himself for $250,000, according to CNN.
This also isn’t the first time Bush has had an issue with a web address bearing his name. A gay couple from Texas bought the domain name “JebBushForPresident.com” in 2008, which they used as a personal blog but have since taken a break.
Sites like “votefortrumppence.com” and “tedcruz.com” also don’t include expected content.
