Washington just got slightly glitzy.
Jared Kushner, the son-in-law/powerful aide to President Trump, is bringing a Hollywood exec to the White House to handle his PR.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Josh Raffel, 32, who handles PR for Hollywood producer Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Productions, is coming to Washington. He’ll be in charge of messaging for the White House Office of American Innovation, which will be headed up by Kushner.
Raffel isn’t a newbie to Kushner — he represented his interests when Raffel worked for Hiltzik Strategies in Manhattan.
According to Variety, Raffel is known for his sanity.
“In a business studded with profane and controling mouthpieces, he is well respected among entertainment journalists for his sane, sensible style and his wit. Raffel confirmed his new job to Variety but declined to offer additional comment,” wrote Brent Lang.
