MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are taking their brand to the next level. They’ve officially had their first public spat – on air – since revealing to Vanity Fair that they’re in a romantic relationship. They’ve never explicitly said they’re in a relationship. But Scarborough has dished about their chemistry, saying, “We have a crackling on-air chemistry, and a crackling off-air chemistry, too,”
And now – just like Fox News’s Jesse Watters – they’re on vacation until Monday.
Mika castrated Watters earlier in the week after Watters made a fellatio joke about first daughter Ivanka Trump: “FOX, clean it up. Microphone comments? Comments on hosts dresses? Get rid of those who cannot measure up. #enough #stepup #blatant #shame.”
Maybe she spoke about cleaning things up too soon?
For the past few days, “Morning Joe” viewers have woken up to Willie Geist, Scarbo-Zzinski’s TV son. It’s a welcomed face as things between Mom and Dad got a little prickly this week.
It’s only natural that workplace romances can get testy – all that time together can turn the pressure cooker on high. Put yourselves on air and the propensity to bicker is inevitable. Not that they haven’t fought before, but this time when Joe got upset when Mika interrupted him, he called her “snotty.”
Which apparently didn’t go over so well off air.
He apologized on Twitter.

Still, now the couple is off on a long weekend, according to NYP’s “Page Six,” to cool off.
It hasn’t stopped Joe from staying off Twitter. He has been on there retweeting nonsense about President Trump.
Pssst…Joe, just a hint, but get the hell off Twitter and pay attention to Mika.
You two are supposed to be playing nice and bonding so you can return to the MSNBC airwaves on Monday in peace.
Just like Watters.
And if you really want to be smart, you could take a cue from Donny Deutsch‘s playbook — when he once pissed Mika off, he bought her pricey high heels, which she wore to the Ronald Reagan Building for a More Magazine event in 2010. “He insulted me on air,” she said at the time.”
They were Christian Louboutin peep toe heels.
One thing was clear: she LOVED them.
