CNN host Michael Smerconish buttered himself up to Chris Cuomo Monday morning, referring to the ex-governor as a “stud.”
During a discussion on healthcare reform on CNN’s “New Day,” Smerconish propped up the individual mandate by arguing that insurance only works if healthy people are on the rolls.
“In other words, the way in which you can afford to pay for people with preexisting conditions is if you get a guy who’s a stud like Chris Cuomo and works out and is healthy and get him into the pool,” Smerconish raved.
Chris Cuomo apparently appreciated the compliment, visibly and audibly kissing each bicep while his cohost asked, “Michael why do you do this?”
