Donald Trump fired back at Hillary Clinton after she blamed her election loss on Russia and the director of the FBI.

The former presidential candidate told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour that if the election had been held just days earlier, she would have won. The president strongly disagreed with that statement on Twitter hours later.

“FBI Director Comey was the best thing that ever happened to Hillary Clinton in that he gave her a free pass for many bad deeds! The phony….Trump/Russia story was an excuse used by the Democrats as justification for losing the election. Perhaps Trump just ran a great campaign?”

Though Clinton said she takes “absolute personal responsibility” for her loss, she also said, “The reason why I believe we lost were the intervening events in the last 10 days.”

“If the election had been on Oct. 27, I’d be your president.”

She added that if you “chart my opponent and his campaign’s statements,” they seem “quite coordinated with the goals of that leader, who shall remain nameless.”

“He certainly interfered in our election,” Clinton said of Putin. “And clearly interfered to hurt me and to help my opponent.”
